Signing In to FXGT from South Africa
Two separate credentials are involved: a Personal Area email/password, plus a trading password for MT4/MT5 issued once the account exists.
Open FXGT Account →An FXGT login is really two logins: the Personal Area opens with the registered email and password, while MT4/MT5 needs the trading account number, its own trading password and the server name shown beside the account. South African clients use the same portal as everyone else — there is no local sign-in address.
The sign-in sequence
- Open the FXGT sign-in page and enter the email address the account was registered with, plus its Personal Area password.
- Clear the two-factor prompt if 2FA is switched on — it is worth switching on if it is not.
- From inside the Personal Area, open MT4 or MT5 and sign in again with that trading account's own number and trading password, choosing the server shown next to it.
Keeping the account secure
Keep the Personal Area password and the MT4/MT5 trading password distinct, use a password that isn't reused elsewhere, and switch on two-factor authentication wherever FXGT offers it.
South Africa-based clients use the same sign-in page as clients elsewhere — there is no separate South Africa-only portal, so bookmark the official domain shown on FXGT's own site to avoid phishing pages.
